An unfinished basement with concrete walls and floor was turned into a warm finished living space with a bedroom and a finished bathroom. The walls were finished using the Dricore wall system. The insulation value on the walls is R-17. The subfloor uses the Dricore sub flooring system which creates a complete vapor barrier to the cold concrete. The finished flooring for the bathroom is tile over the Dricore system and a Schluter isolation membrane. The finished flooring for the living space is a bamboo laminate floor.
